At the invitation of the Cuban Ambassador to Grenada, I recently joined her, along with a few of my Cabinet colleagues, some fellow Grenadians and Cuban nationals to celebrate 42nd anniversary of diplomatic relations between Grenada and Cuba.
Cuba has made a serious contribution to the development of Grenada. We owe the Cuban Government and people so much; many of our students have graduated from Cuban universities and Cuba continues to share its expertise in the medical field with us, even during this challenging pandemic. On the anniversary of this special occasion, I take the opportunity to thank the Government and people of Cuba for the immense generosity bestowed on us Grenadians and I look forward to this relationship growing from strength to strength.
