Kingston, Jamaica, 8 January 2020. The Prime Minister of Jamaica, the Honorable Andrew Holness, extended congratulations to Cuba, on behalf of the Jamaican people and government, on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution. The Jamaican premier also recalled in his message that the collaboration between the two countries has fostered a mutually beneficial and constructive relationship over the years.
On 1 January 2020, the Cuban Revolution arrived at its 61st anniversary. On the occasion of this celebration, messages of congratulation and solidarity were received from various countries in Africa, America, Asia and Europe. Heads of State, senior officials, legislators and activists highlighted the legacy of the Revolution and the beacon of hope that it has represented for decades for those who fight for a more just and inclusive world.
