SAINT LUCIA, 12th June 2019. - The Prime Minister of this Caribbean nation, Honorable Allen Chastanet received on Wednesday afternoon the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, who made an official visit to that country.
During the cordial meeting, both sides noted the positive state of bilateral relations and confirmed the interest in strengthening them. They also discussed other issues of regional and international events. For his part, the Cuban Foreign Minister thanked Saint Lucia for its solidarity and reaffirmed our country’s interest in continuing to expand political dialogue and bilateral cooperation, for mutual benefit and in favor of integration.
Also present on the Cuban side were the General Director of Latin America and the Caribbean of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Eugenio Martínez Enríquez, and the Cuban Ambassador to Saint Lucia, Alejandro Simancas Marín.
