Díli, May 25, 2026. At the Ministry of Finance, Timorese Prime Minister Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão was the keynote speaker at the first working session of the national event, which brought together members of the government, the national parliament, civil society, investors, and the diplomatic corps.

Several presentations were given showcasing the country's journey toward a blue economy, its integration into ASEAN, and the need for coordinated actions that demonstrate the country's resilience. Cuba was represented by the Head of the Diplomatic Mission, Alina Aldama.
