Promising exchange on sports cooperation between Cuba and Malaysia.

Kuala Lumpur, June 10, 2025. Cuban Ambassador Yadira Ledesma Hernández held a fruitful meeting with the Sports Advisor of the State of Sarawak, Mr. N. Chan.

The meeting recognized the international prestige of Cuban sports, its athletes and coaches, and the numerous Olympic and world medals won by athletes from the largest of the Antilles.

Both parties agreed on the potential for developing future cooperation projects in sports.

Sarawak is a Malaysian state on the island of Borneo, committed to developing and managing sports professionally to produce world-class athletes.
