Promoting Cuba as a Tourist Destination from Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, May 3, 2025. About the potential of the various tourist products that Cuba can offer to the Southeast Asian market, Ambassador Yadira Ledesma Hernández and Cuban Consul Octavio J. Rodríguez García discussed the with the representative of the Sette Reps Agency, based in in Malaysia.

During the fruitful meeting, it was gratifying to note the growing interest of the Premium segment in Malaysia and the Philippines in the cultural, historical, and heritage tourism that our island can offer; because Cuba is much more than a sun and beach destination.

Targeting these interests of Asian visitors, we will be coordinating with specialized agencies in Cuba for the upcoming high season.
