NIGERIA, August 25, 2017. The Director of Multilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Richards Adejola, received the second secretary, Leydis Bernal Suárez, Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of Cuba.
The meeting was held in a cordial and friendly environment, in accordance with the existing relations between the two countries, and aspects related to the state of bilateral relations of Cuba and Nigeria were discussed.
The diplomat thanked Nigeria for its support to Cuba in a number of multilateral scenarios, in particular the demand to lift the US economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba.
This exchange contributes to the strengthening of the bilateral ties of the Caribbean nation with the African country, as both officials expressed their willingness to work to maintain friendly relations between Cuba and Nigeria.
