Oslo, Norway.- In a solemn event carried out by the statue of El Libertador Simon Bolivar, at the embassy of Venezuela, took place a commemoration of the bicentennial of the Battle of Carabobo.
The Venezuelan ambassador to Norway, Orlando Ortegano, highlighted the importance of this battle, in the context of the subsequent independence of his country.
The event was attended by friends from Cuba and Venezuela, who have shown great activism in the defense of the socialist processes in both countries.
During his speech, the Venezuelan diplomat highlighted the international community's dismissal of the US blockade against Cuba, stated in the vote that took place on the eve, approving almost unanimously for the 29th time, a resolution on this matter at the UN General Assembly.
The Charge d'Affaires a.i. from Cuba, Mario Alzugaray, attended the event and ratified the unbreakable friendship that unites the peoples of Cuba and Venezuela. (Embacuba Norway)
