The Peninsula, 16 de noviembre 2017.- Renowned Cuban contemporary artist Juan Arel Ruiz Contino along with Cuban Ambassador to Qatar Emilio Caballero Rodriguez visited the Cultural Village Foundation – Katara on Wednesday.
They were received by Katara General Manager Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti.
They discussed ways to enhance joint cultural cooperation through hosting cultural events and exhibitions that contribute to strengthening of the mutual relations between Katara and the Cuban Embassy.
The Cuban ambassador praised the cultural relations between the embassy and Katara and expressed gratitude on the unceasing efforts by the Cultural Village to host traditional events. Contino is a sought-after
artist whose works are displayed in museums in Europe, America and Asia. He is considered one of the most well-known international artists that excel in drawing and painting horses.
