Islamabad, 8 June 2026. A media expert, Ansar Mahmood Bhatti serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Islamabad Post newspaper, Centreline magazine and the Diplomatic News Agency (DNA) and, despite his responsibilities, found time for a cordial visit to the Cuban Ambassador, Damián Cordero Torres.
The pleasant meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the current media landscape and the issues dominating the headlines, as well as the importance of the relationship between Cuba and Pakistan. Both agreed on the need to expand exchanges on matters of diplomacy and the media, as well as to foster other initiatives that promote cultural and social rapprochement between two nations that understand the significance of solidarity in these times. 
The visit by journalist Ansar Mahmood Bhatti is a fine example of professional journalism, according to the Cuban Ambassador himself.
