Repatriation of Cubans from the United Arab Emirates

In the last days, 23 Cubans have returned to our country and were stranded in the United Arab Emirates, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The first group consisted of 11 crew members of the cruise ships MSC Bellissima and MSC Lirica, docked in Port Rashid, Dubai, who traveled to Frankfurt to board a repatriation flight to Havana.

The second group, made up of 12 compatriots, was transferred to the Homeland from Abu Dhabi on the first flight to our country operated by the Emihad airline Etihad Airways.
