Rwandan Foreign Minister of State receives Cuban Ambassador

Kigali. On the morning of June 5, the Honorable Retired General and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in charge of Regional Cooperation James Kabarebe received the Cuban Ambassador Tania Perez Xiques.

During the meeting they reviewed the state of bilateral relations, mainly the results achieved in 2023 and 2024, in which there have been exchanges of high-level governmental and political visits, as well as the renewal of bilateral cooperation projects.

The Director General of Europe, America and International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Rwanda also participated.

Cuba and Rwanda will celebrate the 45th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations on September 9, 2024.
