Kigali. As part of the official program of Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdés Mesa, he visited the headquarters of the Rwandan presidency where he was received by His Excellency Paul Kagame, president of the Republic of Rwanda.
The Cuban leader conveyed greetings from President Miguel Diaz-Canel, thanked him for his presence in Cuba during the G-77+China Summit held in Havana last September, and pointed out that this visit was part of the actions that demonstrate the decision to strengthen political relations and promote bilateral cooperation between both countries.
For his part, the Rwandan leader noted his satisfaction for having returned to Cuba after many years, thanked the Cuban vice president for his visit and ratified the decision to promote relations between both nations.
