Saint Lucia-Cuba Friendship Association Pays Tribute to Fidel Castro on the 9th Anniversary of His Death

Castries, November 25, 2025 – The Saint Lucia-Cuba Friendship Association joins the international tribute to Fidel Castro on the 9th anniversary of his death.

With a post on social media and an introductory interview for the Association's General Meeting to be held next December, the Association pays tribute to the Cuban and world leader, who had close ties to Saint Lucia and the Caribbean in general.

Marlene Alexander, the Association's president, also participated in the main event of the State Mission, which took place last Saturday, November 22, at the Villa Apartments in Castries.
