In Saint Lucia, For Cuba Together We Create

Gros Islet, May 1, 2025 – With revolutionary fervor, joy, and enthusiasm, the Cuban state mission, together with members of the Saint Lucia-Cuba Friendship Association and Cuban residents, celebrated International Workers' Day.

The event, presided over by the ambassador-designate to the sister Caribbean Island, Yenielys Vilma Regueiferos Linares, included health and sports collaborators, graduates in Cuba, representatives of the solidarity movement, and Cuban residents. The Venezuelan Embassy team joined this important activity.

The concept of Revolution, proclaimed by our Commander in Chief in Revolution Square 25 years ago, was a key motivation, and those present reaffirmed their defense of Cuba; their rejection of the blockade and Cuba's inclusion on the spurious List of State Sponsors of Terrorism, as well as their support for Venezuela and causes such as Palestine.

The head of the Cuban Medical Brigade, Dr. Arvelio Ballester Pérez, the president of the Friendship Association, and the designated ambassador spoke at the event. The patriotic atmosphere was complemented by patriotic songs and poems performed by Cuban resident Nancy Pérez and Dr. Manuel Alonso Montalván.

Love for Cuba, revolutionary steadfastness, and faith in the values defended by worthy and committed Cubans were strong reasons for the massive mobilization achieved.
