A virtual Caribbean meeting of solidarity with Cuba was held on July 22 and included the participation of Peter Lansiqot, Vice President of the Humanitarian Solidarity Association Cuba Santa Lucia, as well as representatives of friendly organizations from different Caribbean countries. The meeting was dedicated to the 67th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada barracks (July 26, 1953) and the 60th anniversary of the Cuban Institute of friendship with the peoples (ICAP). In his opening words, Fernando Gonzalez, President of ICAP and Hero of the Republic of Cuba, emphasized that "the only way to face the attempt to divide is with more unity, integration and solidarity in the Caribbean." For his part, the representative of Santa Lucia, who is a member of the GUILD Association of Graduates in Cuba, reiterated the position of solidarity and friendship towards Cuba, the rejection of the aggressive escalation of the United States and his gratitude for Cuba's medical assistance to his country in the confrontation with Covid 19.
