The screening of the Cuban film " Sergio & Sergei ", directed by the filmmaker Ernesto Daranas was held on June 26 at the Cinematheque (Cinemateket) in Copenhagen. The movies received a very positive reaction from the public.
In the opening remarks, Cuba's Ambassador to Denmark, Yiliam Gómez Sardiñas, expressed is a fiction movie that has been awarded in some international film festivals and highlighted the top level artistic performance. She made reference to the first Latin American cosmonaut who is a Cuban man, Arnaldo Tamayo Méndez, who established with his space partner a radio-bridge program between Cuba and the outer space in 1987.
The screening of this film took place within the framework of the Latin American Film Festival organized by the Cinematheque in Copenhagen jointly with Casa Latinoamericana. Members of the accredited diplomatic corps, intellectuals, artists and the Danish public in general, among others attended to the Cinematheque. (Embacuba Dinamarca)
