Vientiane November 2nd, 2022. An atmosphere of renewed spirit, determination to face challenges and seize opportunities, was found by the Cuban ambassador Enna Viant Valdes during the courtesy visit made to the Secretary General of the Lao Revolutionary Popular Youth Union, Comrade Monexay Laomoaxong, newly appointed to the post.
The Cuban diplomat and the senior Lao youth leader agreed to expand the links between the respective youth organizations taking as a premise the content of the Memorandum of Understanding and cooperation signed in 2019, while thanking their country for the support of the resolution of Cuba against the US Blockade, approved at the 77th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, UNGA.
Viant Valdes wished success in the performance of the functions to Comrade Laomoaxong and reciprocated the good wishes on the occasion of the Lao festivities of Pha That Luang.
