#SiempreJoven, celebrating in Jamaica April 4.

Kingston, April 4, 2025. Members of the Cuban State Mission in Jamaica celebrated the 64th anniversary of the José Martí Pioneers Organisation (OPJM) and the 63rd anniversary of the Young Communist Union (UJC).

Representing the militants of the UJC, the Third Secretary Anabel Landrón Ochoa highlighted the relevance of the date for the Cuban people and especially for the new generations, who are building the future of our country day by day.

The Ambassador of Cuba to Jamaica, Fermín Quiñones Sánchez, in his words to those present, highlighted the main tasks ahead for the new generations in the midst of a complex context marked by the tightening of the blockade and the reinclusion of Cuba in the spurious list of State sponsors of terrorism. He ratified the words of Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez when he said: ‘I see no more inspiring and challenging task than to propose to be worthy heirs of the thought and action of Fidel, eternally young and rebellious, leader forever of the Generation that changed the history of Cuba and who still accompanies us with his powerful message of unity’

As part of the activity, the artistic talent of the Medical and Educational Brigades was enjoyed, accompanied by Cuban music.
