The Socialist Forum of Ghana (SFG), through a letter signed by its General Secretary, Kwesi Pratt Jnr, congratulated Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez for his election as First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC).
The message condemns the intensification of aggressive actions by the United States of America against the Cuban people, including the blockade. The Cuban contribution to the achievement of the independence of several African countries and the defeat of apartheid are also recognized; as well as the contribution provided in the fields of health and education throughout the continent. Finally, he sympathizes with the heroic battles of Cuba against imperialism.
