In the Freedom Centre of Accra was held a Workshop dedicated to the life and work of Commander in Chief of the Cuban Revolution. The Workshop was part of the commemoration of the 90th Anniversary of Fidel that was organized by the Socialist Forum of Ghana in coordination with the Embassy of Cuba.
The Workshop was moderated by Mr. Kwesi Pratt, leader of the Socialist Forum of Ghana and the main presentation was given by Mr. Justice Kofi Henaku, Secretary of the Socialist Forum of Ghana and respected historian, who addressed the process of the political and ideological formation of Fidel and his mark as a historical leader of the Cuban Revolution.
At the end of Professor Henaku´s presentation, the attendees exchanged views on the life and work of Fidel.
The Ambassador of Cuba to Ghana, Mr. Pedro Luis Despaigne and First Secretary, Julio César Martínez, answered a group of questions related to the personality of Fidel, the Cuba-U.S.A relationships and the role of the Cuban people in safeguarding the Revolution and its leaders. The Staff of the Cuban Embassy participated in its full composition.
