Belfast, Northern Ireland, September 24, 2022. Members of the solidarity movement with Cuba in Belfast held an emotional meeting this Saturday to greet the 62nd anniversary of the creation of the CDRs. The Cuban resident in this city, Yasmari Perdomo, explained to the participants the importance of the Cuban organization and the role it has played in the defense of the Revolution.
During the activity, the attendees also greeted the referendum that will take place in Cuba this Sunday, September 25, condemned the blockade and demanded its lifting, among other issues addressed.
For his part, the Cuban ambassador to Ireland, Bernardo Guanche Hernández, sent a greeting to the attendees, expressing his gratitude for their permanent solidarity, in particular, on such an important occasion as the celebration of the 62nd anniversary of the creation by Fidel of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution.
