Solidarity and Love from Singapore to the rhythm of Cuban Salsa

Singapore, June 15, 2026.

With significant participation from members of the salsa community in Singapore, the second edition of Latinamanía, a solidarity event with Cuba, was held. It was organized by Professor Suzana Sainol, director of the Cuban Salsa School in the city-state.

The Latin and Cuban music event was attended by nearly one hundred participants of various nationalities, including Cubans, who joined in solidarity with Cuba by contributing part of their admission costs and medicines in response to the difficult situation our country faces due to the illegal economic and energy blockade imposed by the U.S. government against our homeland.

The Cuban Ambassador, Lisbet Quesada Luna, addressed the audience, thanking the organizers and participants, while also denouncing and updating them on the impact of the intensification of the illegal, inhumane, and unjustified U.S. government blockade against our people.

The event undoubtedly served as irrefutable proof that, regardless of distance or nationality, our just cause is in the hearts of many people around the world.
