The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in the Republic of Türkiye expresses its most sincere gratitude for the launch of the solidarity campaign “Küba’ya Güneş Topluyoruz” (Collecting Sun for Cuba), aimed at supporting the strengthening of solar energy generation capacity in our country.
We highly value this initiative, carried out by the Cuba–Türkiye Friendship Association José Martí, which reflects the historic ties of friendship, solidarity, and cooperation between our two peoples.
The equipment to be acquired—solar panels, inverters, and energy storage batteries—will be delivered to healthcare institutions in the city of Santa Clara, contributing concretely to the stable operation of essential medical services. In the current context, ensuring electricity supply in hospitals is vital for patient care and for the functioning of indispensable medical equipment.
This gesture of solidarity takes on special significance as it comes from organizations and citizens who, in the spirit of brotherhood between our peoples, extend a helping hand at a time of challenges for Cuba. Actions like this reaffirm that cooperation and human solidarity transcend borders.
