Solidarity with Cuba in Ankara: Turkish Communist Youth and José Martí Association Reaffirm Their Support

In the city of Ankara, the event titled “Why We Are Friends of Cuba” was held, jointly organized by the Turkish Communist Youth and the José Martí Cuba Friendship Association.

The gathering brought together friends and supporters of Cuba, who shared reflections on the historic bonds of brotherhood between the two peoples and discussed the impact of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by United States on the island for more than six decades.

During the activity, participants reaffirmed their strong support for the Cuban people, who continue to resist external pressures with determination and dignity. They also denounced the intensification of the blockade, describing it as an inhumane policy that directly affects the population.

The organizers emphasized that international solidarity is a fundamental tool against aggression and reiterated their commitment to continuing initiatives to support Cuba from Türkiye.

The event concluded with slogans defending Cuban sovereignty and with a message of confidence that Cuba will overcome the current situation through the strength of its revolutionary determination.
