On April 19, an emotional act of solidarity with Cuba was held in Istanbul, in the context of the Working Group meeting of the International Meeting of Communist and Workers’ Parties.
The event was attended by the Head of the Ideology Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Emilio Lozada García, Central Committee member Elier Ramírez Cañedo, and the Consul General of Cuba in Istanbul, Raúl Ernesto Madrigal Cárdenas, together with international participants, in an atmosphere of fraternity and solidarity.
The occasion was also an opportunity to pay tribute to Commander Fidel Castro, highlighting his historical legacy and his continued relevance in contemporary struggles. The Colloquium “Fidel: Legacy and Future” was likewise promoted as a space for reflection on his thought and enduring impact on recent history.
