During the closing day of the 49th KNE Youth ODIGITIS Festival in Athens, and with the presence of KKE BP member Giorgos Marinos and KNE Central Council Secretary Thodoris Kotsantis, as well as KKE MEPs, an event was held in which the solidarity of the Greek people and their young people with Cuba was ratified.
During the activity, held in Tritsis Park, with the attendance of a large audience, tribute was paid to the 70th anniversary of the Attack on the Moncada Barracks and the economic, commercial and financial blockade stubbornly maintained by the United States government was once again condemned. against the Cuban people and the exclusion of Cuba from the spurious list of countries that supposedly promote terrorism, in which it should never have been included, was demanded.
In the speech given by the Island's Ambassador to Greece, Aramís Fuente Hernández, he thanked the Greek people and their youth for all the solidarity and support with the Cuban people and their heroic struggle.
