In the city of Eskişehir, an act of solidarity with the Cuban people was held, organized by trade unions affiliated with DİSK.
The initiative, proposed by the union Nakliyat-İş, was convened by the regional representation of DİSK and consisted of a public statement in support of Cuba in the face of the blockade and hostile policies of the United States.
Trade union representatives took part in the activity, including Ali Özçelik, President of the Eskişehir Anadolu branch and Head of Training, as well as leaders and members from various organizations. Also present were unions such as Birleşik Metal-İş, Genel-İş, and Dev-Emekli, along with the support of the İşçi Öğrenci Birliği (İÖB).
The statement was read by DİSK Regional Representative Zeynep Kaya, who reaffirmed solidarity with the Cuban people and expressed rejection of the blockade policies.
