We thank Velisarios Kossivakis for the initiative, and all the Greek friends, who have signed the application to award the Nobel Peace Prize for The Cuban Medical Brigades. This shows the admiration of Greek friends for Cuba who know how to value the true solidarity of the Cuban people, and belies the campaigns of slander against our doctors.
As reported in the CUBANIAGRIEGA blog. BLOGSPOT.COM, the initiative has already surpassed 15,000 members, including 56 organizations/unions/associations/websites.
It also reports that among the associations that have joined in this initiative and that show once again their permanent solidarity with Cuba are the Hellenic Cuban Associations of Friendship and Solidarity of Athens, Thessaloniki and Kalamata, as well as the "José Martí" Cultural Association– Solidarity with Cuba.
