Namibia Cuba Friendship Associationwish to congratulate the Cuban people for staging the largest heroic march on December 20 to demand that the U.S. government end the inhuman and cruel economic, commercial and financial blockade and the infamous inclusion of Cuba on the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.
The whole Cuba massively responded to the call of the President of the Republic and First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba, Miguel Díaz Canel Bermúdez, who a week ago stressed the need to march for Cuba against the blockade and the permanence of the Caribbean country on the list of countries allegedly sponsoring terrorism.
The combatant march was also presided over by the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz; the Commander of the Rebel Army, José Ramón Machado Ventura and other leaders of the Party, the State, the Government, youth, student and mass organizations, and members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces and the Ministry of Interior.
The world is drawing inspirations from the heroism of the Cuban people, a society, characterized by the values of freedom,social justice and equality, a society build on international solidarity. Cuba a country of resilient people, , a society of a people with an unbreakable spirit of no surrender.
The people of Cuba suffered and continue to suffer under the criminal economic blockade. Hence, Namibia Cuba Friendship Association and all peace loving people demand the immediate end of the economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba and its removal from the list of state sponsors of terrorism.
