On 13 June, members of the solidarity movement and friends of Cuba in Barbados gathered in the vicinity of the Embassy of the United States in Barbados to demand an end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed against the Cuban people and to reject threats of military aggression against Cuba.
The demonstration was also held in support of the Assembly of Caribbean People's call for a Day of Solidarity with Cuba, paying tribute to the birthdays of Ernesto Che Guevara and Antonio Maceo Grajales, two emblematic figures whose legacy continues to inspire the struggle for justice, sovereignty and international solidarity.
Participants reaffirmed their unwavering support for the Cuban people and their commitment to defending Cuba's right to self-determination and development free from external interference. They also reiterated their call for the lifting of the blockade and for respect for Cuba's sovereignty.
