Solidarity movement with Cuba in Jamaica demands an end to the blockade and Cuba's removal from the list of state sponsors of terrorism

Kingston, 30 September 2025. Members of the solidarity movement with Cuba in Jamaica and the Left Alliance for National Democracy and Socialism (LANDS) staged a new journey of ‘Bridges of Love’ on the last Sunday of the month.

In the morning session, representatives of different organisations gathered for a giant photo against the blockade in Centric Emancipation Park in Kingston. The initiative aims to take the denunciation of this genocidal policy to emblematic places throughout Jamaica.

In the afternoon, digital platforms hosted a virtual forum in which representatives of the Jamaica-Cuba Friendship Association, Jamaican professionals who graduated in Cuba, members of political forces and trade union movements raised their voices to call for an end to the blockade and demand the exclusion of the island from the list of state sponsors of terrorism.
