Accra, March 19, 2025. - His Excellency Mr. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, Speaker of the Ghanaian Parliament received at the Legislative headquarters the Cuban Foreign Minister, His Excellency Mr. Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, on an official visit to the brotherly African country.
Mr. Bagbin was accompanied by Mr. Koffi Attor and Ambassador Jonathan R. Magnusen, both Special Advisors to the President, among other personalities and parliamentarians.
The meeting took place in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in which the current situation of the island and the impact of the coercive measures implemented by the US government were reviewed.
The President recalled his visits to Cuba and expressed his deep admiration for the Cuban Revolution and its people. He strongly condemned the actions of the US government and assured that Cuba could continue to count on Ghana's support in the international arena, while advocating for a strengthening of cooperative relations between the two nations.
