Staff of the Cuban Embassy Celebrates May Day with Their Pakistani Colleagues

Islamabad, May 1, 2026. The staff of the Cuban Embassy in this capital woke up, together with its local staff, celebrating May 1, International Workers’ Day, and in support of the gathering of Cubans at the March for Peace, against war, and because #PatriaSeDefiende.

In a just demand for Cuba’s sovereignty and dignity, the entire Embassy reaffirmed the legitimate right of all Cubans on the island to shape their own destiny and live free from the U.S. blockade.
