Georgetown, November 12, 2021. The Cuban Diplomatic Mission to Guyana held an activity as part of the start of the festivities that take place here welcoming the new normalcy, actions that all are committed to developing throughout the country.
On this occasion, Guyanese friends of solidarity were present such as: Halim Khan, President of the Guyana-Cuba Solidarity Movement and Gerald Perreira, Director of the Party Organization for the Victory of the People, Dr. Ineldo Ruiz Arcia, Chief of the Cuban Medical Brigade, as well as Cuban residents, and a representation of health collaborators in this country.
The event was headed by Ambassador Narciso Reinaldo Amador Socorro, when speaking referred to the efforts of men and women of our people from different sectors, especially scientific and research advances in the health sector, which led to the successful vaccination of the Cuban population that contributed to this success.
He stressed that on November 15, the massive entry of students to their schools will start, an event long awaited by our children and young people, in addition, the gradual opening of flights to the national territory, a milestone long awaited by tourists and nationals, which undoubtedly will redound satisfactorily to the plans our country is developing.
