The Cuban state mission in Namibia expresses its complete condemnation of the bombings carried out by the United States on nuclear facilities in Iran, an irresponsible act by launching missiles and bombs on the territory of a sovereign state. We denounce this disrespectful act as a flagrant violation of international law, the charter of the United Nations, and Security Council resolutions.
Acts of this nature endanger world security and peace and violate the principles of national sovereignty. We demand a de-escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, which could have irreversible consequences for humanity. The United States and its allies must stop their warlike rhetoric and refrain from rudely interfering in Iran's internal affairs under pretexts filled with fallacies.
We call for an end to the aggression and for redoubling efforts to create conditions conducive to a solution through political and diplomatic means. We do not favor irresponsible military actions and support the sovereign right of the people and government of Iran to build their own destiny.
We call on the world to condemn the nefarious aggression, to fight to prevent this escalation of war from continuing, and to rally more voices in favor of world peace and against a global conflagration.
