The Threat Is Not Cuba, but the U.S. BLOCKADE
U.S. PRESSURE AHEAD OF THE UN VOTE ON THE BLOCKADE!
The U.S. blockade against Cuba, which constitutes a crime of genocide and has been in place for more than 60 years, will once again be put to a vote at the United Nations General Assembly.
This inhumane siege, condemned for thirty-four consecutive years by an overwhelming majority of UN member states in the General Assembly, is now being kept in place through the underhanded diplomatic pressure exerted by U.S. imperialism.
Ahead of the crucial UN vote, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has individually placed Latin American leaders in a dilemma in an attempt to secure support for the blockade. This diplomatic pressure and these threats against countries across the region, from Colombia to El Salvador, are the clearest manifestation of the desperation caused by the United States’ failure to break the resistance of the Cuban people on the island, despite the intense attacks directed against Cuba through the presidential decree issued in January 2026.
Let it be clear: the threat to the world is not Cuba, but the inhumane U.S. blockade!
The U.S. blockade, which constitutes a crime of genocide, must be lifted immediately!
Resistance cannot be blockaded!
