Statement by Dayron Valido, Representative of Cuba, at the Adoption of the Universal Periodic Review of Estonia.

Mr. President,

We welcome the delegation of Estonia and recognize that country’s commitment to the Universal Periodic Review.

We appreciate that two recommendations made by Cuba have been accepted. We urge Estonia to take the appropriate measures to prevent and eliminate the systemic marginalization of minorities in the political, educational, and religious spheres.

We wish Estonia every success in implementing the recommendations received and support the adoption of its report.
