Statement Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba

Havana, February 21, 2026 — Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, via his account on X, wrote:

Cuba poses no threat whatsoever to any country. Ours is a peace-loving and fraternal foreign policy committed to peace, friendship and cooperation. It respects International Law and the United Nations Charter.

It does not attack, threatens or interferes in the internal affairs of other States

It is inconceivable that the biggest and most aggressive economic, military and technological power of the world has resorted to the slanderous pretext of asserting that it feels threatened by a nation the size of Cuba.
