We reiterated that our Society is aware of the complex scenario of the Cuba we sure that the Cuban people and government will overcome it and "advance in their socialist cause," under the leadership of the Communist Party, while urging the United States government to lift the blockade as the main cause of the extreme situation of the country.
We reaffirmed our unconditional solidarity and denounced that the situation affecting the island is mainly a consequence of the blockade imposed against that nation by the United States, a measure that, affects all sectors of Cuban society and falls daily on the life of the population."
The two contingencies that weigh on the Cuban people: the energy emergency, and the impacts left by the passage of the Oscar meteorological phenomenon.
As the information received from Cuban Media we console that "there is notable progress at the moment; 70% of the service has been restored, operating with stability, and steps continue to be taken, and in the next few hours the levels of service to the population will increase. This we s a result of the determination and collective efforts of the People, Government and the Communist Party of Cuba.
Regarding the cyclonic event, its passage through the territory of the eastern region effects are severe at this time in the province of Guantánamo
The Revolutionary Armed Forces have come forward to given to save the population. We praise that this important institution took part in the actions of rescue and care and protection of the population: We are sure in the next few days we will overcome these emergencies as Cuba has always done.
