The Hague, August 16, 2025. The New Communist Party of the Netherlands (NCPN) participated in the Third Annual Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba in the Netherlands, held as part of the celebrations for the centenary of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro and coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the founding of the First Communist Party of Cuba. On that occasion, it made the following statement:
"First of all I'd like to thank the Ambassady for inviting us today.
Today we reaffirm solidarity with the Cuban people and reaffirm support for the building of socialism in Cuba.
Cuba is facing lots of difficulties because of the criminal US blockade.
We stand in solidarity with the people of Cuba and look forward to deepening relations with other organisations to support the people of Cuba, their socialist project and fight against imperialism.
Cuba is an inspiration for the peoples of the world and NCPN will continue to support it and its revolution!
Long live Cuba!
Long live Marxism-Leninism !
Long live international solidarity!"
