Kingston, 27 October 2022. Students from S. Patrick's Primary School visited the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Jamaica this morning.
The visitors discussed the life and work of our National Hero José Martí and Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz. They showed interest in the national symbols and attributes; as well as in the functioning of the Cuban health and education systems and the noble work carried out by Cuban collaborators in both sectors. They enjoyed the story "Nené Traviesa" and a cartoon by Elpidio Valdés.
This activity is part of the pedagogical actions of the teaching staff to encourage students to learn about the culture of neighbouring Spanish-speaking countries and to improve their Spanish language skills.
