Luxembourg, March 19, 2025. Cuban Ambassador Eva Yelina Silva Walker presented the Copies of Style to the Head of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Monsieur Olivier Baldauff.
The protocol ceremony was the opportune space to convey to the Luxembourg authorities the willingness to strengthen ties of friendship and cooperation with the European nation and continue deepening bilateral relations between the two governments.
The relations between the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Republic of Cuba have more than 80 years of uninterrupted diplomatic relations and Ambassador Silva's mission is to continue strengthening the ties between both nations. The Ambassador thanked the Luxembourg government for its historic stance against the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the U.S. government against Cuba.
Tomorrow, March 20, the Cuban ambassador will present the credentials accrediting her as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
