The II Annual Assembly of the Communist Youth of Denmark (DKU), which is held from July 8 to 10, supports the message of the Ambassador of Cuba, in the Kingdom of Denmark, Roger López García.
The Cuban diplomat updated the young people on the current context that our people are experiencing, and the battle that is taking place on the Antillean Island to overcome the obstacles imposed by the 243 US measures, to tighten the economic, commercial and financial blockade, decreed by the Administration of Donald Trump, which are still intact today.
The Caribbean representative highlighted the progress of the immunization plan for the population, the feat of being Cuba the only country in Latin America that has 5 locally developed vaccines against Covid-19, and the work of our doctors in the midst of a pandemic, which also they were able to reach more than forty countries to offer their solidarity.
In his intervention, he denounced the maneuvers of the North American Empire, with fabricated lies, which are then propagated by the media, to generate a scenario similar to the one they rehearsed in 2021, which our people have been able to defeat.
He stressed that the Cuban Revolution remains undefeated, and close to celebrating a new July 26, or when a group of young people on the centenary of the National Hero of Cuba, José Martí, staged a transcendental event in the History of Cuba.
The Assembly was attended by the President of the Communist Party (KP), Lotte Rortof-Madsen.
