Namibia, July 3rd, 2019- The SWAPO Party Youth League (SPYL) and the Friendship Associations with Cuba and Venezuela organized a march of solidarity with these countries along Independence Avenue, one of the main arteries from Windhoek, capital of Namibia.
The protest, which culminated in the Embassy of the United States, brought together some fifty people, who demanded the end of the blockade and the US coercive measures against Cuba and Venezuela, respectively. The participants chanted slogans of support to both Latin American countries.
Likewise, the General Secretary of the Namibia-Cuba Friendship Association, Cecilia Muzile, delivered a letter to the US authorities, where the organizations present are demanding an end to the aggressions against both countries.
The march adds to the recent declaration made by the Namibia-Cuba Friendship Association, where they also demanded the end of the Blockade of Cuba and the attacks against the Libertador's homeland.
