Trained in Cuba from Uganda, Burundi and Rwanda attend the tribute to Fidel Castro.

Havana. Convened by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), African graduates in Cuba participated in a virtual meeting to celebrate the 97th birthday of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz.

 

The attendance of graduates from Uganda, Burundi and Rwanda joined that of other countries on the continent, highlighting the messages of gratitude to Cuba, the Commander in Chief and ICAP for having made their studies on the island an unforgettable and essential part of their lives.

 

Professor Abius Tushemerirwe, graduated from the University of Camagüey in 2015, spoke by Uganda and Rwanda was represented by Paul Twagirayezu and Gad Nshimiyimana, graduated from the University Of Agricultural Sciences of Havana in 1995 and from the University of Medical Sciences of Camagüey in the year 2019, respectively.
