Training Ship ‘Simón Bolivar’ to arrive in Santiago de Cuba

Training ship ‘AB Simón Bolívar’ will visit the port of Santiago de Cuba from June 15 to 19 this year.  This visit takes place as part of the Thirty Fourth International Training Voyage in 2024.

According to reports from the Ministry of People’s Power for Defense of Venezuela, the Thirty Fourth International Training Voyage will last for approximately three months. This vessel, also known as “The Ambassador without Borders” will sail around 4 500 nautical miles and will call on several Caribbean and Latin American ports.  As part of this training voyage and prior to its call on the port of Santiago de Cuba, the vessel visited Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Mexico.

This Training Ship will continue to navigate to Santa Marta (Colombia) and Willemstad (Curaçao) and will conclude its voyage in the Venezuelan port of La Guaira this July 13.

The Training Ship ‘Simón Bolívar’ will be open to the public on June 16, 17 and 18 from 10:00 hours to 18:00 hours.
