Oslo, May 1, 2026. The Embassy of Cuba in Oslo had the honor of joining our comrades from the Communist Party of Norway in the ceremony honoring the Norwegian antifascist and communist fighters who fell during World War II in the fight against the Nazi occupation.
Paulius Eidukas, Secretary of the Party in Oslo and Akershus, in his address denounced the dangerous resurgence of fascist ideas, the aggressiveness of U.S. imperialism, and the complicity of political forces in the West.
He called for mobilization and the defense of workers' rights throughout the world, especially in countries directly suffering imperialist aggression and destabilization.
The message of unwavering solidarity with the Cuban Revolution and the condemnation of the economic strangulation to which our homeland and the heroic Cuban people are being subjected were present. Also included was the strong condemnation of the threats of military aggression made by Trump.
