Copenhagen, June 20, 2022. The Danish-Cuban Friendship Association paid tribute to the Heroic Guerrilla Fighter, Ernesto Che Guevara, at the Latin American House in this capital this weekend.
The President of the Friendship Association, Sven Erick, addressed the audience, acknowledging the extraordinary legacy of Che's ideas, whose example still encourages new generations.
The International Secretary of the DKU (Communist Youth of Denmark), Nikolai Aamand, presented the experiences of his trip to Bolivia, where he visited La Higuera in that country. In his speech, he highlighted the values of solidarity and revolutionary consciousness of Che, and his clear vision of the struggle that the Cuban Revolution still maintains against the cruel US blockade that has lasted sixty years.
Susanne Wind, from the Board of Directors of the Friendship Association, also intervened, who explained the work of the solidarity brigades with Cuba, when two new visits are organized in the second half of the year.
The activity was attended by some members of the communist parties, young people from the DKU, the "Patria Grande" Association, and a representation of Cuban residents.
Several colleagues from the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in the Kingdom of Denmark were present at the act led by the Head of the Consular Section, Eneida Lemus Zellero.
