Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodriguez, on behalf of the Government and People of Cuba, signed the Book of Condolences opened on the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis.
The ceremony took place at the Apostolic Nunciature in Bangkok and was a solemn moment to pay tribute to the life and spiritual legacy of the Holy Father.
The ambassador also attended the mass celebrated in honor of His Holiness the Pope at the Cathedral of the Assumption in Bangkok, which was also attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Thailand, members of the Catholic community in this country and representatives of other religious communities based in Bangkok.
The ceremony was charged with recollection and respect, reflecting the deep appreciation for the figure of Pope Francis and his tireless work for peace, interreligious dialogue and social justice worldwide.
